Pulmonology/Critical Care – Bloomington, IL
– A Pulmonology and/or Critical Care Intensivist is needed for full or
part time shift at OSF St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Our updated
comprehensive critical care unit of 32 beds is an all
state-of-the-art center which includes Critical Care and step down
patients. Another option is to compliment this with a pulmonary
outpatient practice. Lastly, a final option exists to practice sleep
medicine in a six bed accredited sleep bed facility located near the
medical center. Call is 1:5 on the weekends and 1:4 rotated a week
at a time on weekdays. We are currently evaluating the feasibility
of contracting for eICU services for evening backup. This practice
opportunity is part of OSF Healthcare, which is nationally ranked

Cardiology – Galesburg, IL
– Very busy Cardiology group seeks an additional interventional
Cardiologist to serve a well established and growing patient base in
Galesburg, Illinois. Practice in a new diagnostic Cath lab and
beautifully designed, functional and well equipped medical office with
other Cardiologists, specialists, primary care physicians and caring
professional support staff. Practice in the heartland of this farming
area with other industrial and service businesses. Enjoy this friendly

Emergency Medicine - Peoria, IL - OSF
Saint Francis Medical Center, the major teaching affiliate of
Emergency Medicine - University of Illinois College of Medicine -
Peoria is seeking clinical and core faculty physicians for full and
part-time opportunities. Exceptional opportunity with an experienced
and progressive hospital opening a new ED in 2010. EM residency,
Level 1 Trauma Center, flight program, base station, and 72,000
emergency department visits annually. Greater Peoria has a metro
population of 350,000, offers a vibrant, energetic community, active

Gastroenterology – Bloomington, IL – OSF
St. Joseph Medical Center is building a Gastroenterology Group to meet
our patient and referring physician demands. Two Gastroenterology
physicians will start this practice with the support of the OSF Medical
Group physicians and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington,
Illinois. A Gastroenterology fellow trained physician with ABMS
certification in IM and GI is desired. A newly trained physician will
also be considered with the stipulation that board certification must
be achieved for continued employment. The service is supported by over
300 physicians on staff, and also includes full comprehensive benefits,
company paid pension plan, and matching retirement package. This group
also provides services for patients from OSF Saint James, in Pontiac.

with ability to practice pancreatico-biliary interventional, EUS or
liver diseases – An experienced, rapidly
growing, general GI practice in Peoria, Illinois is looking for quality

four board certified Neurologists in a collegially supported

practice this along with general neurology care. Patient referrals are
received from over 300 physicians on staff at OSF St. Joseph Medical

The Department of Neurology in the Illinois Neurological Institute,

expanding patient base. This Neurology group includes 13
neurologists, including 2 sleep neurologists, with support from 6
nurse practitioners. Call is 1:13 or better with sleep neurologists

equipment including a fully digitalized video EEG lab, video
monitored beds with portable video units, intraoperative monitoring,

and PM&R.
Neurology

This opportunity offers the ability for a neurologist with interest
in Stroke, Alzheimer’s, Headache, and General Neurology to practice

Urgent Care Center in the twin cities of Bloomington-Normal, Illinois.
Quick assessment and treatment is important in this fast paced
environment. Full time physicians work (8) shifts per (2) week pay
period and have the ability to work additional shifts if desired.
Occupational medicine physicals, drug screens and work-related
assessments are part of this busy prompt care. On site x-ray, wave lab,
procedure room plus seven exam rooms are located within this center.
Hours are 8 am-7 pm Monday to Saturday; 8 am-6 pm on Sunday. Coverage
of shifts is rotated and flexible days off are offered between shifts.
A Family Medicine, Med/Peds, or Emergency Medicine physician has the
