Pediatric After Hours

The first of its kind for pediatric care in central Illinois, the Pediatric After Hours Office was designed to treat those "can't wait until tomorrow" conditions such as a sore throat or earache. It provides you with peace of mind, knowing you can use our services when your primary care physician's office is closed for the evening or weekend.

This service does not replace your primary care provider; it simply offers care for those times when you cannot get in to see your child's physician.

If your child requires non-life threatening medical assistance after hours, please call your local OSF Medical Group physician's office, or 1-888 6 ASK OSF (1-888-627-5673).

A specially trained nurse will answer your call. You may be directed to see a physician in the Pediatric After Hours office, located at 420 NE Glen Oak Ave, in the Hillcrest Medical Plaza, Suite 201, Peoria. An appointment is required.

Office Hours:

Our pediatric physicians see patients during the following hours:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Our Services

Our staff is trained to see newborns, children and teenagers up to 18 years old. All services are provided by a pediatrician, a nurse and a medical office assistant. They can provide care for:

• Bites/Stings
• Earaches
• Fevers
• Headaches
• Mild asthma attacks
• Minor sprains, burns, cuts & scrapes
• Rashes
• Sore throats
• Urinary problems
• Vomiting & diarrhea

We cannot provide physicals, sports exams or routine immunizations. Please see your child's primary care physician for these services.

We have access to on-site lab and can provide throat cultures, blood and urine tests.
