Adult After Hours

By Appointment Only: Saturdays 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The OSF Medical Group Adult After Hours service was developed to treat those "can't wait until tomorrow" conditions such as a sore throat, rash, sinus infection or respiratory illness.

It provides you with peace of mind knowing that you can see a trusted OSF doctor on Saturday when your primary care doctor's office is closed.

*This service does not replace your primary care doctor; it simply offers you additional care on Saturday. If we see you at Adult After Hours, we will inform your primary care doctor and a record of your visit will be available to them immediately through our electronic medical record system.

How Adult After Hours Works

To get an appointment with Adult After Hours on Saturdays, please first call your local OSF Medical Group doctor's office. Or, you may call 1-888-6 ASK OSF (1-888-627-5673)

A specially trained nurse will answer your call, evaluate your needs and help you decide if you should go to the Adult After Hours office, a PromptCare or the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center Emergency Department. Adults are only seen at Adult After Hours on Saturdays with an appointment.

Our Services

Adult After Hours provides medical treatment for things such as:

  • Common Colds and Flu
  • Ear Ache / Infections
  • Sore Throat
  • Fevers
  • Rashes
  • Minor Sprains, Burns, Cuts and Scrapes
  • Urinary Problems
  • Upper Respiratory Illnesses
  • Other minor injuries or conditions that can't wait until the next day.

 

Services We Don't Provide

If you have an illness or condition that can wait until Monday, you should call your primary care doctor's office and make an appointment. We do not provide physicals, routine immunizations or emergency care.

Billing

Any services you received will be billed by the OSF Medical Group Common Business Office. Your appointment is covered just like a regular OSF Medical Group office visit. Your standard co-pay applies based on your individual insurance plan.
