A newly trained physician will be considered with the stipulation that board certification must be achieved within a few years for continued employment. OSF positions include a base salary commensurate with experience plus RVU bonus incentives. Family Medicine Opportunities

Bloomington, IL - Busy family medicine group of 4 seek an additional Family Physician to serve a well-established and growing patient base in Bloomington, Illinois. Call is a manageable at 1:5 rotated daily during the week and every 5th weekend. Practice in the area's most complete multi-specialty healthcare practice.  We have more than 60 providers representing more than 20 specialties in this facility. The Bloomington-Normal sister cities are growing rapidly with a current population of about 160,000. Located in the heart of Central Illinois approx. 125 miles southwest of Chicago, 155 miles northeast of St. Louis, Bloomington is the proud home of Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University, offering the finest in public and private educational choices. The cities are also home to State Farm Insurance, Mitsubishi Motors North America, and Country Insurance and Financial Services, companies who have chosen Bloomington-Normal for their corporate headquarters.

Galesburg, IL - Extremely busy practice seeks an eighth physician to serve a well established patient base in Galesburg, Illinois. Call is 1:8. A dedicated, high energy Family Physician is needed in this collegial supportive environment. This practice is located on the western corner of the campus of OSF St. Mary Medical Center, a state-of- the-art, 138-bed facility. This physician will work with high patient volumes and caring colleagues to serve patients in Western Illinois. This is an IDPH, RIMSAP and Farm Bureau Payback site.

Monmouth, IL - Due to increasing patient volumes and expansion of our service area, we are seeking a Family Medicine physician to cover one-16 hour shift every other Wednesday (twice per month). The rest of the week hours will be in practice between 8 am - 5pm. Call is (1) weekend every (6) weeks rounding on all inpatients. Our Hospitalists care for in-patients Monday through Friday and cover the ED from 8 am - 5:30 pm. This candidate would see any ED patients between 8:30 pm and 11 pm on Tuesday and Friday. Practice in the clinic seeing walk-in patients with two other Family Medicine physicians, an Internal Medicine physician, and two Physician Assistants. OSF Holy Family Medical Center is a critical access hospital with 23 acute and skilled beds and full service surgical and ancillary departments. This is an IDPH and RIMSAP payback site.

Peoria, IL - Another Family Physician is needed for our growing Family Practice patient needs in Peoria, Illinois. Call is 1:5 with nurse triage after hours to support call. Another OSF Medical Group physician covers nursing homes. Practice in this new center with other experienced family physicians. With the ability to expand over the next few years, this center will grow to meet patient demands within the Peoria area. Within 10 minutes of downtown Peoria, home to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, a 534-bed Level 1 Trauma Center; Children's Hospital of Illinois, and the University of Illinois College of Medicine residency training programs

Pontiac, IL - A Family Medicine or Med/Ped physician is needed to serve a well established and growing patient base. Call is 1:5. This position combines clinical and hospital duties. This opportunity opens in 2008 to serve the continual growth of this corridor between Rockford and Chicago. Call is 1:5 with nurse triage after hours to support call. Another call option exists in a 1:13 which covers pediatric outpatient calls for a week at a time. This clinic is located within an easy 45-minute drive to Crystal Lake, 35 minutes to Lake Geneva and 60 minutes to Woodfield Mall, in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg.
 

Urgent Care

Bloomington, IL - Urgent Care - Very busy urgent care site seeks an additional physician for fast paced Urgent Care Center in the twin cities of Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. Quick assessment and treatment is important in this fast paced environment. Full time physicians work (8) shifts per (2) week pay period and have the ability to work additional shifts if desired. Occupational medicine physicals, drug screens and work-related assessments are part of this busy prompt care. On site x-ray, wave lab, procedure room plus seven exam rooms are located within this center. Hours are 8 am-7 pm Monday to Saturday; 8 am-6 pm on Sunday. Coverage of shifts is rotated and flexible days off are offered between shifts. A Family Medicine, Med/Peds, or Emergency Medicine physician has the opportunity to practice in a beautifully designed, functional and well equipped medical office, with other physicians who rotate in our Urgent Care site(s).
