Physicians with quality medical training who have completed board certification are desired. A newly trained physician will be considered with the stipulation that board certification must be achieved within a few years for continued employment. OSF positions include a base salary commensurate with experience plus RVU bonus incentives. Medicine/Pediatrics Opportunities
Pontiac, IL - An Internal Medicine/Pediatric physician is needed in Pontiac, IL to become part of the collaborative OSF Medical Group. Practice with another Med/Ped physician and 17 other OSF Medical Group primary care physicians. Call is 1:5 in a community of 14,000+ with a wide drawing service area. Join the Mission of OSF Healthcare, an integrated health care network, and OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center, a state-of-the-art 47 bed health care facility, built new in September of 2002 to replace the original hospital which provided quality care for over 100 years. Pediatrics Opportunities
Galesburg, IL - A pediatrician is needed to join a building practice. Call is 1:2 and will adjust as the group expands. Pediatricians are called for C-sections, which are minimal in number and are usually pre-scheduled. This is an IDPH, RIMSAP, and HIPSA score 14 payback site. Our dedicated physicians and mid-level providers provide compassionate and quality care to the patients we serve in this vibrant community. All of the OSF Medical Group offices and providers are associated with OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, IL, a state-of-the-art 99 bed acute care hospital.
Peoria, IL - A pediatrician is needed to join an established practice and share a call of 1:6. Nurse telephone triage is able to handle most phone calls. Pediatrics after hours clinic is available to see acute patients evenings and weekends. On the campus of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is the Children's Hospital of Illinois a 127-bed hospital with more than 75 pediatric specialists representing 28 pediatric subspecialties.
Pediatric Cardiology
Peoria, IL - The Department of Pediatrics of the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) and Children's Hospital of Illinois (CHOI) seeks Pediatric ECHO Cardiology candidates who are board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric cardiology. Join a team of 7 pediatric cardiologists with 30 plus years of success in the region. Professional efforts will be bolstered by the support of 2 pediatric cardiovascular surgeons and a fully staffed cardiac intensive care unit with cardiac intensivists. In addition to general pediatric cardiology, opportunities focus on echocardiography, fetal echocardiography, and adult congenital disease.

- 5,000 echocardiograms (including transesophageal and fetal echos) last year.
- 200 catheterizations (60% interventional) and 175 pediatric cardiovascular surgeries last year.

CHOI is the primary pediatric teaching facility for UICOMP and is a 127-bed facility that offers over 100 pediatric programs and services. CHOI is the only full service tertiary hospital for children in central Illinois with designated Level I Trauma Center, a Regional Perinatal Center, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.

Pediatric Pulmonology
Peoria, IL - The Children's Hospital of Illinois is seeking two Pediatric Pulmonologists to develop a comprehensive pediatric pulmonology program and coordinate further development of an existing accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center. Supported by a growing referral base of 100 CHOI Pediatric Sub-Specialists, 72 faculty members at the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria, over 50 pediatric programs and services at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, this practice is located in a beautiful, new 8 story, Children's Hospital. Responsibilities will include directing a clinical program in pediatric pulmonology, providing diagnostic and treatment services to children with conditions affecting the respiratory tract, and coordinating the Home Ventilation Program at CHOI. Professional components include in-patient rotation coverage and general pulmonology clinic coverage of related professionals to assure continuous availability of services and monitoring the steps to enhance the quality of pulmonary services delivered at Children's Hospital of Illinois and the Department of Pediatrics. Scholarly and research interests are highly desirable, along with experience in teaching medical students and residents.
