Dr. Robin Spencer - Executive Medical Officer

Dr. Robin Spencer grew up outside of Detroit, Michigan, but has been an Illinois native for more than 25 years. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed a family medicine residency at Toledo Hospital in Ohio. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 adult children as well as skiing, bicycling, and fly-fishing.
"I started independent practice in 1981. That year saw a major economic recession and the unemployment rate in Rockford rose to over 20%. OSF Saint Anthony took care of patients during that time regardless of their ability to pay. OSF still does that to this day. It’s easy to work for an organization that has such a strong, unwavering commitment to the underserved."
Kathy Pavkov - Director of Nursing Services
Kathy Pavkov grew up on a farm outside Bloomington, but has been a Peoria resident, along with her husband and two children, since 1997. She loves Peoria because "...it has a bit of a city appeal, but is really a small town."
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in nursing as well as a Master’s degree in physiological nursing. She loves spending time with her family as well as running and travel. She spends time volunteering at Global Village, a fair trade organization, in Peoria Heights and for the No One Dies Alone (NODA) program at OSF Saint Francis.
"I love the fact that we are a faith-based organization, with a Mission to serve those in need. I can truly say that no one is denied care based on race, religion or payment source. I love working with the diverse group of people with many talents from all the regions. I also love ambulatory care since it provides us an opportunity to work with patients in their own element."
